UIU Los Angeles

The UIU-Los Angeles Chapter kicked-off in West Hollywood with a bang on June 23rd, 2017 and we have not stopped since!

UIU-LA operates in the heart of sunny Southern California, supporting the Greater Los Angeles Area; where we have really made a significant impact. UIULA was established to bring Igbo youths and professionals together, establish a sense of community and educate members about the rich Igbo culture, while giving back to our local communities, and ensuring the younger Igbo generation in LA have role models to emulate. In a short amount of time, we are now the largest network of Nigerian-Igbo professionals in the LA area. After 6 months of launching, we amassed 100 paid members and have since consistently maintained an average of 130+ paid members. We continue to provide a wide variety of quality events focused around professional development, cultural education, community engagement, to name a few; specially curated for our local demographic and membership. Our biggest event of the year is ‘The UIU-LA Culture & Excellence Ball’,
